At the 81st General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) in Paris, France, new standards were agreed in a number of areas, including antimicrobial resistance, broiler welfare and rinderpest and there was special attention on the recent influenza A(H7N9) episode in China.
