and its sister charity, the Humane Slaughter Association, are pleased to add their support to new evidence-based veterinary medicine manifesto which sets out how veterinary professionals and other stakeholders should act to improve evidence-based veterinary medicine.
The manifesto highlights the importance of making research evidence relevant, replicable and accessible to the end users – namely vets, vet nurses, owners, farmers, professional organisations and policymakers amongst others. It also calls for education in evidence-based healthcare for professionals, policymakers and the public to enable them to make informed decisions.
